1. About HelpNinja

HelpNinja ("we", "us") is a brand of DirectPoint Media LLC, 1408 E 13th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001. HelpNinja provides practical playbooks, program information, educational resources, and optional email and SMS alerts directly to consumers through its website. HelpNinja provides its own informational resources and customer support directly through its website. HelpNinja is not a government agency, is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency, does not determine eligibility for any program, and does not distribute benefits.

2. Agreement

These Terms of Service apply whenever you read a playbook or turn on alerts. Using the site means you accept them, along with our Privacy Policy; if you would rather not, please leave the site. Alert sign-ups are open to people 18 and over.

3. Playbooks are general tips

Each playbook is a general how-to. It is not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Agencies and programs set their own rules, those rules differ by state, and they change. Treat the program's own instructions as the final word. We work to keep playbooks accurate but cannot promise every one is complete or up to date.

4. Price

There is no cost to use HelpNinja and no obligation to purchase anything. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to texts.

5. Alerts by email and text

Alerts are optional. Text messages are sent only if you check one or both of the separate, optional SMS consent boxes on our sign-up form, and are governed by our SMS Terms, which form part of these terms. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase or of using this website. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Service provider

In order to fulfill your request, HelpNinja may use contracted service providers, which act solely on HelpNinja's behalf and at HelpNinja's direction, for the sole purpose of facilitating the delivery of communications you have consented to receive. These service providers operate under strict contractual obligations to process your data only as directed by HelpNinja and in accordance with this Agreement. Your personal information will not be sold, rented, leased, or otherwise disclosed to any unaffiliated third parties for independent marketing purposes.

7. Accurate details

Give us your own details. Only enter a mobile number or email address that belongs to you or that you are allowed to use. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to that information.

8. Fair use

Please do not sign up other people, run bots or scripts against our forms, or try to break or overload the site.

9. Ownership

The playbooks, illustrations and other site content are owned by DirectPoint Media LLC. Linking to a playbook, or quoting a few lines with credit, is welcome. Where we link to another website, that site is run by someone else and we are not responsible for it.

10. No warranties; limits on liability

We offer the site and its playbooks "as is", with no warranties. As far as the law allows, neither DirectPoint Media LLC nor HelpNinja is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that come from using the site or acting on a playbook.

11. Updates to these terms

When these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a fresh "Last updated" date. If you keep using the site after that, the new version applies.
